Make Conservation a California Way of Life

Reducing your water use to meet our Valley-wide conservation target isn’t a one-time thing. While it’s great to meet that milestone, the goal is to continue water-saving practices daily, until they become a habit and a lifestyle. Saving water is a continuous act. Learning and implementing water-efficient habits will help you make better choices for your water use, and help you become a better steward of this precious and vital resource.

Effective Ways to Save Water

To save water, everyone has an important role no matter where we live, work or play. We are the stewards of this precious resource. All customers can:

  • Focus on efficiency. Aim for the most benefit with the least waste.
  • Find and fix leaks. Small leaks can really add up, but regular inspection can help minimize and even prevent them.
  • Report water waste. Neighbors and businesses may not even realize they have a leak, overspray, run-off or another wasteful condition. Help save water by reporting it online.
