Drought and Hard Water
Drought and Hard Water
Are you seeing spots?! Don’t worry. Hard water is caused by naturally occurring calcium and magnesium in local groundwater, picked up as it percolates through the ground and into the aquifer. During drought, your water may even seem harder than usual because we have to rely more on groundwater, as we have limited access to softer imported state water. But, rest assured that hard water poses no threat to the quality of your drinking water.
Not letting water dry on counters, glass, and shower doors can reduce water spots. You can also use white vinegar and/or baking soda to help remove those spots. For more info on water quality click here
